CURRENT PROJECT SHOWCASE

Day one of a project is when we tend to uncover any surprises hiding in the walls.  On this one, about an hour after the first swing of the hammer, lurking behind the drywall, we found a half-demolished brick chimney ready to collapse on whoever might wander under it at the wrong moment (no earthquakes please!).  It upended the design entirely, but with some quick, hard work by the owners, the designers, and our crew; we were able to get rid of the problem, and the redesigned remodel turned out to be even better than the original plan.  These owners proved to be a delight to work with, and we have performed several projects on their house to date; and we are grateful to call them our friends.
