Project Manager/CFO and Co-Owner
With construction experience since childhood and years of his own general contracting success, Paul's vast well of knowledge and hands on experience, relentless attention to detail, and tireless perseverance make him the most faithful, consistent, and reliable presence one will ever find in the world of contractors.
Stuart Hawkes
Project Manager/CEO and Co-Owner
Over ten years of independently licensed contracting, Stu engineered a unique, highly relational, communication-forward way of contracting that earned him a loyal customer base and cohort of subcontractors. Specializing bespoke remodels, he earned a reputation for excellence and for a unique ability to bring joy and fun into the remodel process.
Lauren Hawkes
Office Manager
The newest (and arguably most essential) member of the team, Lauren brings the wisdom and essential breath of fresh, feminine air to the rank masculinity of the company. She runs the show, keeps us safe, and keeps everyone paid! While she is a rock star managing the office, we like to think of her as our "Team Mom."
Matt Haniger
Lead Carpenter
Matt is "the most interesting man in construction." Matt does a fantastic job of employing years of experience across multiple disciplines; artistic, active, and occupational; all together into one immensely creative problem-solving talent. He excels in carpentry and electrical; he can make anything, and he can make it absolutely beautiful.
Eric Hudman
Lead Carpenter
Eric will be one of the few remaining after the apocalypse. Not because he's a prepper, but just because he is that durable. Raised in Alaska, forged by the fires of multiple blue-collar trades in those harsh climates, and tempered by years of global travel and missions work, Eric is endlessly resourceful, undaunted by a challenge, and will never leave you in the lurch.
John Frady
Journeyman Carpenter
The son of builder, who is the son of a builder, John is the consummate professional and the local's local. When he's not cheerfully hanging doors or cabinets, which he does with exceptional speed and grace, he is ranging from Santa Barbara to Monterrey looking for waves, diving for urchins and rockfish, or in the hills hunting for chanterelles and arrowheads.
